President & CEO - J.R. Flatter, Ph.D.

J.R. began his career in the Marine Corps, rising from an enlisted Private to Staff Sergeant before receiving a commission as a 2nd Lieutenant. During his military career he excelled in the leadership roles of Platoon Sergeant, Drill Instructor, Platoon Commander, and Company Commander. Additionally, he successfully completed staff tours of duty as a Manpower Policy Analyst, Antiterrorism/Force Protection/Nuclear Security Program Manager, and Business Processes Reengineering Project Manager.

J.R. complements his practical experience with a strong educational background. He holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of Washington; an M.S. in Management from the Naval Postgraduate School; and a Ph.D. in Public Sector Leadership Development from The George Washington University. As an adjunct professor at George Washington University, J.R. teaches graduate and undergraduate courses on leadership.

Chairperson - Alicia Flores-Flatter

Alicia Flores-Flatter is co-founder and Chairperson of Flatter & Associates. In addition to serving as an integral member of their corporate leadership team, Alicia's day-to-day duties at Flatter & Associates involve corporate strategic planning, business development, and Partner-Client relationship management.
 
Prior to founding Flatter & Associates, Alicia held professional positions in businesses throughout the United States. Concurrently, while serving as a Marine spouse, Alicia traveled with J.R. from duty station to duty station raising their four children.
